Strongly Regular Semi-Cayley Graphs
We consider strongly regular graphs r = (V, E) on an even number, say 2n, of vertices which admit an automorphism group G of order n which has two orbits on V. Such graphs will be called strongly regular semi-Cayley graphs. For instance, the Petersen graph, the Hoffman-Singleton graph, and the triangular graphs T(q) with q = 5 mod 8 provide examples which cannot be obtained as Cayley graphs. We...

متن کاملCyclotomy, Gauss Sums, Difference Sets and Strongly Regular Cayley Graphs
We survey recent results on constructions of difference sets and strongly regular Cayley graphs by using union of cyclotomic classes of finite fields. Several open problems are raised.
متن کاملStrongly regular graphs
Strongly regular graphs form an important class of graphs which lie somewhere between the highly structured and the apparently random. This chapter gives an introduction to these graphs with pointers to more detailed surveys of particular topics.
متن کاملDisconnecting strongly regular graphs
In this paper, we show that the minimum number of vertices whose removal disconnects a connected strongly regular graph into non-singleton components, equals the size of the neighborhood of an edge for many graphs. These include blocks graphs of Steiner 2-designs, many Latin square graphs and strongly regular graphs whose intersection parameters are at most a quarter of their valency.
